Dining options for Valentine’s Day 2023 in Hanoi

Sophisticatedly decorated with love themes, many hotels in Hanoi are offering abundant special dining choices for couples. Here are some dining options suggested by The Hanoi Times for special dinners of the year.

Fraser Residence Hanoi offers a delectable dinner, which is specially prepared for this love season with garden salad served with grilled jumbo prawns and special chef’s dressing and beetroot soup with white chocolate flake for starter.

Meanwhile, the grilled Hokubee beef served with fondant potato, asparagus and thymes sauce or grilled salmon with passion fruit and tomato, and molten chocolate cake and vanilla cream will be served as a yummy dessert.  

The price for this “Love In the Air” menu is VND750,000 (US$32) per person, including one pinky cocktail or mocktail. A live violin performance is also available. Diners who book in advance will have a chance to win a complimentary voucher for a night’s stay at the hotel including breakfast for two.

As the backdrop to a perfect date night for visitors to Hanoi on Valentine’s Day, Pan Pacific Hanoi is delighted to celebrate the occasion with an exquisite culinary collection, featuring a generous Yum Cha Dim Sum Buffet for Lunch at Ming Restaurant that is available throughout February. The price starts from VND580,000 ($24.6) per adult and $12.3 per child.

On Valentine’s Day February 14, the hotel will serve the “Love & Treasure Set Menu” at The Summit Bar with a great view overlooking the West Lake and Truc Bach Lake. The menu features a 4-course dinner for couples, priced at VND2,888,000 ($124).

In addition, the Love Valley Cocktail is served all month long at The Summit Bar at VND250,000 ($10.6) per glass.

Being concocted by Hanoian talented bartenders, the sophisticated glass is embraced by the velvet pink chocolate drizzle, creating the perfect Valentine’s drink for a night full of love and flavors.

Grand Mercure Hanoi sets the stage for the most romantic night of the year for couples who are looking for a private and heartwarming place. Enjoying the grazing Valentine set menu at VND1.45 million ($61.4) per diner with the hotel’s special welcome drink, while falling in love with the live music performance, or having fun with self-portrait drawing at Loc-Ally Restaurant.

The hotel also offers private romantic dinners on the hotel’s rooftop where guests are treated to wonderful views of Hanoi from above. Diners will also have the chance to win numerous prizes with free stays at Accor hotels around the world.

Hyatt Regency West Hanoi serves a quite reasonable dining option for Valentine’s Day with a lavish full-course western-styled set menu at VND845,000 ($36). Two free glasses of wine on Sky Bar are also complimented when experiencing the special menu.

JW Marriott Hanoi may help diners to surprise their partners with a number of choices for romantic supper, including a romantic set menu for two with a complimentary cocktail and some sweet treats to finish at Akira Back and French Grill; the “Drunk in Love” with premium champagne and food pairing with dessert at Rendezvous Champagne Bar; a special buffet dinner at JW Café with lakeside views.

In addition, the hotel’s “Premium Romance is in the air” room package also features some benefits for couples, including a night stay at the hotel and its executive lounge access and a credit of VND3 million ($127) per day for food and beverage services at the hotel.
