The annual Lim festival falls on the 12th and 13th days of the first lunar month, or February 2 and February 3 this year. The festival mainly takes place in the Hong Van Mountain, or Lim Mountain area which attracts the most visitors. Diverse activities are held throughout the festival, including folk games, love duet singing, and calligraphy. A performance of love duet songs put on by children in Hoan Son commune of Tien Du district receives plenty of enthusiastic applause from locals and tourists.
