Vietnam National Tourism Year 2023 promotes green tourism

Local pieces of work at international art photo contest exhibited in Hanoi

Over 10,000 entries by 1,073 photographers from 32 countries and territories around the world are submitted to the contest, which ran for six months starting from September 12, 2022. It featured four topics, including colour freedom, monochrome freedom, children, and ideas. Vietnamese photographers won 45 prizes at the event, including four gold medals. Among them is a piece featuring childhood snapped by Nguyen Duc Nguyen in the colour freedom topic. A photo taken by Nguyen Huu Binh depicts farmers harvesting lilies. National flags of countries participating in the eighth Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival flutter amid the street festival. Diners are excited to see the noodles floating around with the wooden chopsticks suspended in mid-air. The secret of this dish lies in the vertical stake positioned in the centre of the plate. The noodles are rolled around the chopsticks, concealing the vertical stake. Diners feel as if there is an invisible hand holding the noodles in the air.
