He also calls at the headquarters of Viettel Cambodia, a member of the Vietnam Military Telecommunication and Industry Corporation (Viettel).

The same day, PM Chinh receives Men Sam An, deputy Prime Minister, deputy head of the Cambodian People’s Party, and president of the Cambodia – Vietnam Friendship Association.

He also calls at the Vietnamese Embassy headquarters in Phnom Penh to meet the embassy’s officials and representatives of Vietnamese businesses and expatriates in Cambodia.

Following the visit, Vietnam and Cambodia release a 16-point joint statement in which they agree to respect each other’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, not to interfere in each other’s internal affairs, and to settle all issues arising by peaceful means.
